Stripey Supergirl, yes please!

Posted on

To go with my other Superman/Supergirl items and my current obsession with them. I have found some, not only stripey, but also Supergirl PJs. Oh yeah, gotta love me some Supergirl PJs. If only they weren’t quite so expensive, (£16 to me is expensive for PJs) I wouldn’t hesitate to buy them. (I also have an abundance of PJs, my draw is brimming.)

Ok, normal pretties will resume now. I’ll just blur outta here….

Tesco give me more dresses.

Posted on

I posted some lovely dresses on my other blog before this one was invented. Anyway, Tesco have given me ( I say “me” like it was only for me, but obviously it was for you too, yeah?) some more purdy dresses.

A 50′s style tea dress with peter pan colar. You know what I love most about this dress? It’s £18. Even before being on sale it’s an unmistakeable  timeless bargain. Obviously the price isn’t the only good thing, it’s polka dot print is the better factor. Perfect summer dress with ballerina flats I’m thinking.

Can’t beat a good spotty teapot

Posted on

I love a good cup of tea. I have a stripey teapot, which is awesome, but I feel it could use a friend. This one is from Next, who right now have a very lovely selection of spots and stripes in their home-ware, I urge you to have a look. This one could be a spotty candidate.

Now my question to this teapot, are you a good pourer? You may look pretty, but if you’re a dribbler you are no good for my tea needs. I don’t want to be wasting tea everywhere.

Here’s some more of the beautiful sets from Next. Think my kitchen is in need of an overhaul now, and tea party with cake.

Eucalyptus Striped Gathered Dress

I am in awe of this dress. I love it. AND. IT’S. ON. SALE.

It was £73 but now £40 on ASOS. If it was £10 cheaper I would probably snap this up. But, alas, I have no occasion to wear this. However, I am trying to invent one. My birthday isn’t till August, would that be a bit too much forward planning? (Probably, yes, considering all the pretties I’m looking at)

Note the cute little pink buttons at the back. In awe, I tell you. AWE.

It comes in red too, but sizes are sparse. Click through the Images to view at ASOS.

I’m a sucker for a striped blazer.

It’s a bit short for my liking, it being cropped and all. But I do love it’s shape and style. Could totally make a plain outfit pop; I envision raffia wedges, skinny jeans and this jacket would be quite perfect.

Blue (possibly navy) and white vertical stripes make this awesome in my books. You?

Oh and hooray for H&M finally being on-line and selling things!

Shoe Lust: Kurt Geiger Brooke Courts

Lets just take a moment to stare at these…

Ok. I’m done (for now), you? Shall I continue? Excellent.

These are just beautiful. (Need I really say anymore?) Quite frankly, I don’t think I could do anything other than stare at these on my feet. At £180, I think that is all I will be doing, but online in photo form, sad face.

Click through the image to view them in all their glory. I strongly advise it.

Spotty Stripey Tunic Fest!

New Look are offering us some spots, stripes and polka dots in their tunic collection. Oh, how they treat us! I do love New Look at the minute, they are offering some prize print items.

I think my favourite of this lot it the white and black spot with the little bow belt.  What about you?

More summer stuff: Nautical Stripe Beach Bag

Posted on

I just keep throwing these summery things at you, don’t I? I’m a big fan of a nautical theme, well it’s pretty much blue and white stripes with some rope and the occasional anchor.

What could be more perfect for the beach than a nautical themed bag? This one is from Matalan for £6, click-through the image to view.

Retro 60′s printed dress

On first look I quite liked this dress, but now I can’t help but look at it and think “Dinner lady”.  But it’s definitely spotty!

It’s new at Peacocks (online exclusive). It does come in 3 other versions too, which I think are a little bit nicer on the eyes.

This one is kinda stripey, no?

Swimwear: Spot on!

Posted on

So about now we’re probably all looking forward to summer. So on the theme of yesterdays big sun hat, here is a selection of spot (and a few dots) swimwear (or “beachwear” as it seems to be more associated) to make you look forward to summer.

I don’t think I could possibly force this body in a bikini on to anyone’s poor eyes. But never-the-less this one is very cute, and I do like the little bows that sit on the hip. They have to be brought separately from New Look, but I think that’s advantageous to those of us who are not the same size on top as bottoms, right?

Bikini’s not your thing? How about this retro shaped one piece in the same print?
